Drawing Down on Campaign Funds

In this article, we will be discussing how to draw down campaign funds that your office is entitled to claim

Updated over a year ago

Before you can begin the process of drawing down funds, you must first determine the amount that your office is entitled to claim.

In the following example, the office is entitled to draw down funds for the amount of $3600.00 . Items totalling this amount have been used and invoiced to the vendor.

We are currently holding $5000.00 in the trust account on behalf of the Vendor.

To draw down funds create a "New Trust Payment to Us"

The trust payment is calculated by adding up the total amount owed for all "used" items that have been invoiced but not yet drawn down. For example, if you have four items that have been used and invoiced for a total of $3600.00, then your trust payment will be $3600.00

Save the record.

The totals display a payment of $3600.00 leaving a trust balance of $1400.00. This payment can now be transferred out of the sales trust bank account across to the trading account.
