To set up ABA functionality in Zenu Trust, you must ensure the relevant details have been entered against the individual trust account. If you have multiple trust bank accounts, each would be set up independently.
A Trust Account Inquiry displays all of your existing trust accounts. These may include a Sales Trust, a Marketing Trust or individual Interest Bearing accounts.
In this example, ABA functionality will be set up for the Sales Trust Account.
Select Trust | Trust Account Inquiry.
Double Click your Sales Trust Account
Complete all fields under "EFT Bank Account Details"
Enter the BSB and Account number of the Sales Trust Account
Enter the Trust Account Name
Enter the Bank, Branch & Abbreviation of the "bank"
Enter a User ID (see below)
In order to create an ABA file, you will need to enter a User ID that is assigned to your bank or financial institution. This ID is typically a nine-digit number and is used to identify your bank when processing transactions. Some banks require you to use a specific User ID. Speak to your bank to confirm. If a specific ID is not required enter 888888.
