How to Update Listing and Team Member Cards in Web Builder

Customise your Listing Cards and Team Member Cards

Keeping your website up to date is essential for maintaining a professional and engaging online presence. In Web Builder, you can easily manage and customise your Listing Cards and Team Member Cards through the Site Design menu. This guide walks you through the process of accessing, editing, and publishing your cards.


Accessing Card Settings

To begin, navigate to your Site Design menu and select Cards.
Here, you’ll see all your existing cards organised into categories such as Listing Cards, Team Member Cards, and more.

The cards you publish will automatically appear on your website when used within the appropriate widgets on your pages.

Note: Cards saved as Drafts will not display on your live site or in your website preview.


Editing a Card

To make changes to a card, click the ellipsis (three dots) on the right-hand side of the card and select Edit.
This opens the editing screen, where you’ll see:

  • A preview of your current card on the left, and

  • Editable settings on the right.

To update a card, simply click on the section you want to modify. The available settings will vary depending on the Card Style you’ve chosen.


Customizing Text Styles

For example, if you’d like to change the text appearance:

  1. Click on Text Styles to open the settings.

  2. Use the dropdown menus to adjust Heading, Subheading, and Body Text elements.

  3. When you’re happy with your edits, click Update to apply them.

Your changes will appear instantly in the preview pane on the left.

For advanced users, there’s also a Custom option. However, it’s usually best to create a new Element with your custom settings — this ensures your styles remain consistent and reusable across your entire site.

Changing Card Styles

You can also change the overall look of a card by clicking Swap Card Style.


From there:

  1. Choose a new style from the available options.

  2. The preview and settings will update automatically.

  3. Edit the settings for the new style as needed.

When switching styles, consider your site’s overall design. You may want to update other cards to maintain visual consistency across all pages.


Adjusting the Preview

To see how your card will appear across different layouts, adjust the preview display to show one, two, three, or four cards at once.

You can also click the mobile icon to preview how the design looks on smaller screens and mobile devices.


Saving or Publishing Your Updates

At the top-left of the screen, you’ll find the Publish and Exit options.

  • To save your work as a draft, click Exit, then select Save and Exit. Your saved draft will reopen next time you edit that card.

  • To discard your recent changes, click Exit, then select Discard Changes.

  • When you’re ready to make your updates live, click Publish.

Once published, your new card settings will instantly update across all widgets and pages where that card is used.
