How to Set or Edit the Colour of an Element in Web Builder

Updated over 2 months ago

In Zenu Web Builder, you can set or edit the colour of any Element to match your brand’s style and maintain a consistent look across your website.

Step 1: Access Elements

  1. Go to Site Design.

  2. Click on Elements.

You can either add a new Element or edit an existing one to set or change its colour.

Step 2: Open the Colour Settings

Click on the colour field within the Element’s settings. This will open the colour selection options.

Step 3: Choose Your Colour

There are several ways to select a colour:

1. Enter a Colour Code

  • You can enter a HEX, RGB, or HSL code directly.

  • This is ideal for matching colours exactly to your brand palette.

2. Use the Colour Slider and Shading Options

  • Move the colour slider to select your base colour.

  • Adjust the shading selector to lighten or darken the colour.

  • The colour codes will update automatically as you make adjustments.

3. Use the Colour Picker Tool

  • Click the Colour Picker icon.

  • Your cursor will change to a picker icon.

  • Hover over the colour you want to select on your screen and click when it appears in the picker.

  • The chosen colour will be applied, and its code will be displayed.

Step 4: Record Your Colour Code

If you use the Slider or Colour Picker to select a colour, it’s a good idea to note the colour code.

This allows you to apply the exact same colour elsewhere on your website by entering the code directly, ensuring consistency across all Elements.
