Creating a new Progress Claim

Prior to creating a Progress Claim, the listing must exist in Zenu Trust. Refer to chapter "Working with Sales Files" and "Create a New Sale in Zenu Trust"

Once the sale is created, select "Project" to commence setting up each stage

In this example, four stages will be set up

Select the % for each stage along with the progress claim due date

Four stages have been set up

Ensure the commission split / agents share is correct

To create the invoice for stage one, select Progress Claim

Stage 1 of 4, 25% Progress Claim of Total Commission will be processed

$17,325.00 will be paid to "Us" for Stage 1

Select Process

The Progress Claim statement will be generated for Stage 1

The figures have now updated

A sale invoice has been created

And an auto receipt generated

The payment amount of $17,325.00 will appear on the bank reconciliation

Leaving a trust balance of $62,675.00

To process additional stages when due, follow the same process

Figures have updated as each stage is saved

To view additional details on each stage, select Project Schedule

Relevant dates are displayed

Notes can also be added to each stage

Select Transaction Inquiry to view individual invoices and receipts

Processing the final stage will complete the Account Sale.

In this example, a surplus of $10,700.00 has been released to the Vendor

Now that ALL four stages have been claimed, the sale can be completed

Reversing a Progress Claim

To reverse the most recent stage of the Project Schedule, select Undo Progress Claim

Any transactions for the Progress Claim will be deleted

If additional stages require a reversal, continue the same process

Please note if transactions were created in a prior month, they cannot be deleted
