Your website’s Global Settings are the foundation for many key features that appear across your site, from social media links and maps to API integrations and custom labels. Managing these correctly ensures your website runs smoothly and maintains a consistent, professional look.
Accessing Global Settings
To access the Global Settings area:
Navigate to the Website Module.
Click on Settings.
Select Global Settings.
Here you’ll find a range of configuration options, including:
Social Media Links
Map Settings
Google and Facebook APIs
Third-Party Services
Listing Status Displays
Custom Bed, Bath, and Car Labels
Listing Image Fallback
Each of these can be managed to suit your office’s preferences and setup.
Social Media Links
You can add, edit, or delete social media links as needed.
Ensure each URL is entered correctly. If a field is left blank, that platform’s icon will not appear in your site’s floating social media section.
Tip: The floating social media section can be hidden via the Global section of the Site Design area.
Map Settings
Your website’s map integration is also managed here.
Enter your Google Map Key or Mapbox Token in this section.
During onboarding, you’ll receive instructions to generate your Maps key.
Before setup is complete, you can temporarily use the Zenu Map option.
Google APIs
This section allows you to add or update your Google API details.
As part of Zenu’s “Go Live” process, you’ll be prompted to verify your site with Google.
If your website is already live but you haven’t yet added a Google Site Verification code, it’s recommended to do so here.
Having a valid Google Site Verification code helps improve your website’s visibility and makes it easier for people to find your site through search engines.
Facebook APIs
If your office uses Facebook integrations, you can enter your Facebook API codes in this section.
This enables certain social media and marketing features to work seamlessly with your website.
Third-Party Services
Web Builder supports integration with several third-party services, including:
Propps
Anywhere Auctions
Before You Bid
Made Comfy
You can enable or configure these services here if they are relevant to your office.
Listing Status Displays
You can customise the wording used for your Listing Status displays and Client Login labels.
This is helpful if you want the text to better reflect your brand tone or internal terminology.
Custom Bed, Bath, and Car Labels
Need to adjust the way property features are displayed?
Here, you can modify the labels for Beds, Baths, and Cars to suit your preferences or local terminology.
Listing Image Fallback
The Listing Image Fallback setting determines what appears when a property listing doesn’t have an uploaded image.
You can choose between:
Image (a default placeholder image), or
Map (a static map showing the property’s location).
