No matter where a button appears on your site, in the header, footer, or inside a widget, the process for managing it is consistent.
Button Basics
Every button includes:
Button Text
Link Type
Destination
For demonstration, the Header settings are a good starting point. Under the Content section, you’ll find the fields for button text and link settings.
If the Button Text field is empty, the button will not display, regardless of its link.
To remove a button, delete the text from the Button Text field.
To activate a hidden button, simply enter text into this field.
Linking Options
When adding or updating a button, ensure it’s linked correctly. The Link To dropdown provides three options:
Existing Page
Displays a dropdown of your published pages for easy selection.
Web Address
Provides an Address field to paste the full URL.
Includes an Open in New Window toggle, useful for external links.
Action
Client Login: Links to Zenu’s client portal for account management.
Quick Appraisal: Links to Zenu’s Quick Appraisal form.
Calculator: Inserts your Calculate Stuff Calculator ID.
Styling Buttons
Under the Styles section, you can control your button’s appearance:
Button Style Dropdown:
Choose from your existing Button Elements, or
Select Custom to style manually.
Tip: Button Elements are managed in Site Design.
If you create a custom style you like, consider saving it as a new Button Element. This allows you to reuse the style across your website without recreating it each time.
