Before you start
Zenu Ads must already be connected for your office. If you haven't completed setup, speak with your administrator or contact Zenu Support.
The listing you want to promote needs to be a residential sale listing.
Have the agent's payment card handy. Card details are saved per agent, so the first ad for each agent will require the card to be entered.
Step 1: Open the listing
In Zenu, navigate to the residential sale listing you want to promote and open it.
Step 2: Click "Boost"
On the listing, you'll see the option to Boost the listing. Click this to begin.
The Zenu Ads checkout will open, carrying the listing's details across automatically.
Step 3: Choose your package
Select the package that suits the campaign. Packages differ by budget, reach, and how long the ad runs. The details of what's included are shown against each option.
Step 4: Review and edit the ad content
Before checking out, you can edit the content of the post. Review the copy and imagery pulled through from the listing and adjust anything you'd like to change.
Tip: This is your last chance to change the wording before the ad goes live, so it's worth a quick proofread here.
Step 5: Click Continue
Clicking Continue takes you to the secure Stripe checkout.
Step 6: Complete payment
Enter the card details and complete the payment. Once payment goes through, the ad is submitted and begins running.
⚡ Important: what happens after you pay
Your Just Listed and On-Market ads run automatically. Once payment is complete, these ads are scheduled and go live without you needing to do anything further.
Your Sold ad does not run automatically. When the property sells, you need to trigger it:
Change the listing status to Sold in Zenu.
Go back to the listing and open the Boost widget.
Click Sync Listing.
This pushes the updated Sold status across and releases the Just Sold (or Sold at Auction) ad. Until you click Sync Listing, the Sold ad will sit waiting and won't go live.
Step 7: Release the Sold ad
When the property sells, update the listing status to Sold in Zenu, then open the listing and click Sync Listing on the Boost widget.
Your Just Sold ad will then be released and begin running as part of the campaign you've already paid for, there's nothing extra to purchase.
Tip: Make this part of your post-sale routine. Updating the status alone isn't enough — the Sync Listing click is what actually kicks the Sold ad off.
About saved cards
Card details can be saved for the agent who is running the ad, so future boosts for that agent won't require re-entering them.
Cards are saved per agent, not per office. The first time each agent runs an ad, their card details will need to be entered. After that, the saved card will be available for their subsequent campaigns.
Frequently asked questions
Can I boost a rental or commercial listing? Boosting is available on residential sale listings.
Why can't I see the Boost option? This usually means Zenu Ads hasn't been set up for your office yet, or you're viewing a listing type that isn't supported. Check with your administrator or contact Zenu Support.
Can another agent use my saved card? No, saved cards are tied to the individual agent. Each agent needs to add their own card the first time they run an ad.
Can I edit the ad after it's been submitted? Any changes to the post content need to be made before you click Continue at Step 4.
