Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) helps your website appear more prominently in search engine results, making it easier for people to discover your business online.
By default, your web pages are automatically assigned titles, keywords, and descriptions based on their content. However, you can customise these settings to improve your visibility and strengthen your brand’s presence across search engines like Google and Bing.
Step 1: Open the Pages Section
Go to the Pages section of your website.
Locate the page you want to update.
Click the ellipsis (•••) on the right-hand side of the page name.
From the dropdown menu, select SEO.
This will open the Edit SEO screen for that specific page.
Step 2: Edit Your SEO Metadata
In the Metadata section, you’ll see four editable fields:
Title – The headline that appears in search results and browser tabs.
Description – A short summary of your page’s content. This appears under your title in search results.
Keywords – Relevant words or phrases that describe your content. These help search engines understand your page’s focus.
Canonical URL – The preferred web address for the page (useful if you have similar content elsewhere on your site).
Click into each field and enter your desired information.
Tip: Keep your titles clear and concise, use natural language, and include relevant keywords to attract the right audience.
Step 3: Insert Your Website Name (Optional)
You can automatically include your Website Name in any of these fields by inserting a merge field:
Click where you want your website name to appear.
Click Website Name from the available options.
The merge field will be inserted automatically, saving you from typing it manually each time.
Step 4: Save Your SEO Details
Once you’ve entered your SEO information:
Click Save to apply your updates.
Your page’s SEO metadata is now customised and will display to search engines the next time they crawl your site.
Step 5: Repeat for Other Pages
Repeat this process for each page you’d like to optimise.
Consistent, well-structured metadata across your site improves your search ranking and helps users find exactly what they’re looking for.
