Editing an Existing Page Name or URL in Web Builder

Updated over 2 months ago

In Zenu Web Builder, you can easily update the name or URL of your existing website pages. This is useful when you want to make your page titles more descriptive, improve SEO, or ensure your URLs match your content and branding.

Step 1: Access the Pages Section

  1. Go to the Website module.

  2. Click on Pages.

You’ll see a list of all your existing pages displayed on the screen:

  • The Home Page will always appear pinned at the top.

  • All other pages are listed in alphabetical order below it.

Step 2: Open the SEO Settings

  1. Find the page you want to edit.

  2. Click the ellipsis (•••) on the right-hand side of the page name.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select SEO.

This will open the SEO and Page Details window for that page.

Step 3: Edit the Page Name or URL

If the page allows editing, you’ll see the Page Name and URL fields located above the SEO fields.

Note: Some pages, such as the Home Page, cannot have their name or URL changed.

If the fields are available:

  1. Click into the Page Name field and make your changes.

  2. Update the URL field as needed.

The Page Name and URL are often similar, but the URL must follow specific formatting rules.

Step 4: Follow URL Formatting Rules

When editing a URL:

  • Use letters, numbers, and dashes (-) only.

  • Do not use spaces, symbols, or special characters.

  • Keep the URL short and descriptive for best results.

Example:

  • Page Name: About Our Team

  • URL: about-our-team

Step 5: Save Your Changes

Once you’ve updated the page name and/or URL, click Save to apply your changes.
Your new page name and URL will now appear throughout your website.
