It is a common misconception that if a contact has unsubscribed from receiving E-marketing emails, this will prevent them from receiving all email communication.
If a contact unsubscribes from E-marketing, it will still be possible for them to receive a manually sent email.
The “email” function in our system is mainly used for sending personalised emails to individual contacts, such as responses to specific inquiries or follow-ups on previous conversations.
Since these emails are tailored to each contact, an unsubscribe button is not necessary, unlike our E-marketing emails that have a built-in unsubscribe function to ensure compliance with email marketing regulations.
What if a Contact Wishes to be Removed From Your Email List?
In case a contact wishes to be removed from your email list entirely, you can easily set their status to “do not contact”. Head to the contact page in Zenu >> Edit >> ALLOW ONGOING CONTACT = NO
This will ensure that they do not receive any emails or other forms of communication from your office in the future.
