Updating an Agent's Commission
It is essential to have a thorough understanding of the commission payment system and to ensure accuracy when it comes to calculating payments. Once you have identified the commission amount that needs to be updated, you can make the adjustment.
The commission amounts are broken down into two sections.
The % of Sale (in green) is the amount the agent is "Recognised" for bringing into the office. This is not the amount they are necessarily paid. This figure may be used when an agent is working towards a target of an expected figure within a timeframe.
The Agents Share (in red) is the percentage of the recognition that the agent will be paid.
In the below example, Eddie who is the lister is recognised for bringing in $10,000 to the office and of this will be paid 40 % of the $10,000 ($4000).
The remaining 60 % will go to the Company ($6000)
If your office is not concerned with recognition amounts, you may choose to use a split setup instead. A split setup simply allows a set percentage to go to the agent and the remaining automatically goes to the office.
In this example, both the Lister & Seller will receive 20% (in Red below ) as a set split.

Adding a New Agent to Your Commission Breakdown
At times, you may need to adjust your commission breakdown by adding a new agent. This is easy to do.
1- Add or Remove Agents by selecting + or -
2- Adjust the Agent role to Lister, Seller, or Manager
3- Enter the recognition and the share the agent is to receive. The "% of sale" column must always total 100%
4- To remove an agent, click on the line so it displays in Blue and select -

The Primary Agent can only be removed if another agent is selected as the Primary Agent.
Save the record. The corresponding listing in Zenu CRM will now reflect these changes.
