What is the difference between Pipeline and the property timeline statuses?

Updated over a year ago

In general, the property timeline consists of the following statuses:

  • Prospect

  • Pre- Appraisal

  • Appraisal

  • Listing Presentation

  • Pre-Listing

  • Sneak Preview

  • On Market

  • Under Offer

  • Under Contract

  • Pre-Sold

  • Sold

Pipeline, however, is more of a rating system rather than a listing status and is used to estimate the timeline for Prospects, Appraisals, Pre-appraisals and Listing presentations. These listings can be rated as either an A, B, C or D:

  • A: Next 30 Days

  • B: 60-90 Days

  • C: 120+ Days

  • D: Not in the Pipeline

The way in which listings are prioritised is left to the discretion of each agent and can be utilised according to their own judgment.
